So, I've decided I need to lose weight, none of my clothes fit. And my supposed-to-be loose scrubs are getting a little tight around the thighs. I've joined the ladies at work in their Weight Watchers, I got the old books out. I decided I didn't need to join because I've joined twice. I know what I need to do. It's just that doing it thing.

And I've decided I need to start jogging.

I had been contemplating the jogging idea when I heard a radio DJ (AIR1 106.5 FM/89.1FM in Tulsa) talk about starting a running program. A listener called in a told her about the "Couch to 5K" plan on So I got on, printed it off, and actually went running yesterday. Well, I ran for 60sec then walked for 90sec for a whole 20 minutes!! I'm so motivated. Rebecca is running with me, mostly in front of me, but it's nice to have a fellow partner.

Our plan is to run in the Tulsa Run's 5K this fall. I'm posting this so now I have to keep with it.

My other motivation: Ali from the Biggest Loser. Didn't she look AMAZING?? I want to be that buff and I don't need to lose 112 pounds. I think I can do it!!
