I'm Sarah. And that's me with my dogs, Bella and Bentley, above. I'm a PA. A Physician Assistant. (see below) I love what I do. But even more I love Jesus. I love helping others love Him too. I volunteer in my church in the youth group. These are my ramblings about the humor in life as a Jesus follower and a PA.
A Physician Assistant, or PA, is your partner in health providing high-quality primary, acute and specialty healthcare services similar to those of a physician. A PA is a licensed health care professional who practices medicine under the supervision of a physician. PAs are people who typically have a master’s degree and who have graduated from a PA program. They must pass a certification exam before they can practice with a physician.
A PA is considered a mid-level provider. They form a team with the physician to provide you with quality, cost-effective health care. PAs can perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, develop and carry out treatment plans, order and interpret lab tests, suture wounds, provide preventative health care counseling, and write prescriptions. A PA can also treat patients when the physician is away from the office. PAs work in physician offices and can see patients in the hospital.
