Most of you know I have a 30 mile one-way commute each day. Here are a few of my thoughts from the many miles I travel and wish I had a camera at times (but sometimes I can't even talk on my cell and drive so just keep dreaming).
1. DO NOT DRIVE IN THE FAR LEFT LANE IF YOU ARE GOING SLOWER THAN THE SPEED LIMIT.
2. DO NOT DRIVE IN THE LEFT LANE FOR YOUR ENTIRE TRIP. THE RIGHT LANE IS FOR DRIVING, THE LEFT IS FOR PASSING. THIS MEANS, IF PEOPLE ARE PASSING YOU ON THE RIGHT, MOVE OVER!!!
3. How does one keep a cigarette from blowing out of one's hand while on a motorcycle?
4. Helmets? (for those on 2 wheeled vehicles)
5. Why doesn't that guy take off his tie before getting on his motorcycle. I'm sure a tie flapping in the face isn't pleasant.
6. Why do the road crews decide 5pm would be a good time to re-paint the lines on South 169? Haven't they heard about rush hour?
7. If your windows aren't tinted, and even if they are, I can see you picking your nose. You can't hide.
8. Buckle your kids up. Really.
9. How many people ARE NOT talking on their cell phones while driving. Just count someday, it's amazing.
10. If you are going to be a jerk while driving, please don't put an ichthus on your car or anything that might give us all a bad name.
Those are just a few thoughts. I'm sure I'll think of more.
Quote of the day: "Don't you really have to give me an antibiotic shot? B12 shots usually do the trick for me."
My response: "No, I wouldn't mention an antibiotic shot if I didn't think you needed one and a B12 shot will NOT do the same thing."
